At Eire Constructions, we’re building the communities we want to live in. We deliver civil infrastructure projects across the Mid North Coast and Regional NSW, and we’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Fuel Truck Driver / Yardperson to join our team.
This is more than just a driving role. You’ll play an important part in keeping our projects running by ensuring our plant and equipment are fueled, maintained and ready for work each day.
About the Role
Based from our Sancrox yard, you will:
Operate our fuel truck to safely refuel plant and equipment across multiple project sites.
Conduct daily pre-starts and routine vehicle inspections.
Maintain accurate fuel records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Assist with basic servicing, greasing and general maintenance of plant and equipment where required.
Support the yard team with loading, unloading, housekeeping and general yard duties when not completing fuel runs.
Work closely with our workshop and project teams to ensure equipment is available and ready for operation.
Maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance and quality standards.
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
Holds a current Minimum MR Truck Licence (HR Licence advantageous).
Has a good understanding of civil construction plant and equipment.
Has experience operating fuel trucks or heavy vehicles (preferred but not essential).
Has mechanical aptitude or previous experience in a workshop or civil construction yard.
Is willing to get involved with general yard duties when required.
Is willing to work overtime when required as our construction sites operate on 10 hour days.
Is physically fit and capable of working outdoors.
Has attention to detail and takes pride in their work.
Is reliable, self-motivated and enjoys being part of a team.
